Drinkstone All Saints

Drinkstone All Saints

In a lovely setting, this medieval church has a 17th century brick tower built for ringing. The church was upgraded in the mid 19th century and has quatrefoil clerestory windows, spacious aisles and an impressive tower arch. The dazzling east window features high quality Lavers & Barraud glass of 1867 and includes a depiction of Christ as Saviour of the World. The exquisitely carved rood screen of 1390, Norman font, and medieval glass remain. Group tours by arrangement.
